Quick Overview: Top 3 Camera Bags for Canon M50

1. Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW

USER RATING: 5/5
5/5

Overview:

The Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW is a large, spacious rucksack that is perfect for vloggers who tend to travel a lot, and are adventure seekers.

Vloggers who go shoot travel vlogs and have to take a lot of equipment with themselves, maybe on mountainous areas or forests, would definitely love this bag.

It is highly functional; you can fit almost everything in a very organized manner so when it’s time to shoot, you don’t have to wrestle with the equipment inside just to find the extra battery pack you kept for emergencies.

Large Space:

The bag can house at least one or two pro-grade Canon cameras and is definitely a great fit for the Canon M50.

Along with that, it also has the space to fit in up to eight extra lenses, along with other accessories for example, SD cards, USB cables, Gimbal etc.

This bag is perfect for hikers who are aiming for some aesthetic landscape shots, because such shots need a lot of equipment to be set up to get that perfect frame, lighting, distance etc. and the Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW can pack all of what you will need in one place.

Access Points:

You can access your equipment from four different access points in the bag; the top, the rear, and the sides of the backpack. The multiple access points make your equipment easily reachable, hence providing an enhanced user experience.

Waistband:

It is often complained about that the backpack becomes quite heavy with all the equipment stored in it and therefore it is hard to keep oneself stable with all that weight.

This backpack solves that problem by providing a waistband that gives extra support at your waist and keeps the bag, and yourself, stable. You can see how functional this rucksack is, given that even the waistband includes storage pockets.

It can be very useful in storing relatively smaller items, for instance, extra SD cards, your cell phone etc.

The waistband is removable, so if it bothers you and gets in your way, you can simply detach it and stuff it inside your backpack.

Overall Review:

Overall, the backpack is pretty spacious, functional and comfortable.

It provides enough storage to keep everything you need without the fear of breaking or scratching anything, because the bag is separated into compartments, giving a more streamlined and organized structure to it.

There is also a smaller version of this backpack, for those who don’t usually carry a lot of stuff.

USER RATING: 4.7/5
4.6/5

Overview:

The Billingham Hadley Pro, as the name suggests, is a UK based handmade shoulder bag and is undoubtedly the best camera bag for Canon cameras, especially M50.

The build is classy, and the design is elegant. the design may deceive you to believe that the bag is not spacious enough, because of its slim build, but let me surprise you with how much this remarkable creation can store.

Bag Space:

The bag is made up of full grain leather, coupled with brass fixings; the outer shell is fully waterproof, providing another reason for vloggers to buy this for their Canon M50.

The bag has enough room to fit one full-frame DSLR body inside (even with a 24-70mm lens attached), 3 extra lenses, a pro-grade flash gun, but sadly, no tripod. More than that, there are two external pockets on the front where you can stash away smaller items, like the cables, batteries, SD cards, eatables etc.

3. Think Tank TurnStyle 20 V2.0

USER RATING: 4.8/5
4.7/5

Overview:

The Think Tank TurnStyle 20 V2.0 is a sling-back camera bag, which means you’re supposed to wear it across your body and not on your back.

It has one shoulder strap, diagonally, unlike the usual two straps that regular backpacks have.

These Sling-back backpacks are getting more and more popular by time and there are good reasons for that.

The Think Tank TurnStyle 20 V2.0 is the largest one in the line.

This model comes in three different sizes and two colors, which makes it more attractive to the younger generation who are very preferential.

Think Tank offers Blue/Indigo and Charcoal colors in this style, which, in my opinion, are both very classy and chic.

One Shoulder Strap:

The plus side to the one shoulder strap thing, is that you can just swivel the bag and bring the bag from your rear to the front and easily access the entry point to take out whatever equipment you require at the time, without having to take off the whole bag and rifling through all the equipment stuffed inside.

Accessories Storage:

This sleek bag can store one full-size Canon camera (therefore, can easily fit the M50), along with four extra lenses and other accessories; the additional straps, SD cards, batteries, cables etc.

Adding to that, all sizes of this bag contain an extra pocket to store your tablet, so that you can upload your videos from wherever you are!

Oh, and you can also find another front pocket that you can use to store any extra, smaller items. I personally use that pocket to store my granola bars, but you get the picture, right?

Along with the basic vlogging kit, the bag also contains an extra compartment for a laptop or a tablet.

You can easily stuff in a 13 to 15 inches’ sized laptop notebooks (The bag is available in both sizes), and easily upload your videos while traveling.

Easy Accessibility:

The accessibility of the bag is what piqued my interest. First of all, this bag is more like a satchel, it has one strap for the shoulder and one smaller handle to use it as a briefcase.

Anyways, there is this innovative MagLatch closure, and a zipped flap at the top. It allows you to easily access your camera without much hassle, and without wasting a lot of time opening the whole bag.

3. Billingham 445 Bag

USER RATING: 4.9/5
4.9/5

Overview:

Billingham 445 is one of the biggest and most capacious camera bag out there in the market currently. The design is classy and it appeals to a lot of new generation photographers.

Accessories Capacity:

The bag has the capacity to house at least one or two Canon DSLRs along with up to 8 additional lenses and accessories. The accessories that this bag can fit include but are not limited to, flash guns, gimbals, memory cards, batteries, power banks, cables, etc.

This bag does not feature a built-in pocket sleeve for a laptop or a tablet but you can buy the “Laptop Slip” separately; it is capable to fit in a 13 inches’ laptop. This laptop slip can be fitted into the front pocket of the bag easily.

Pockets:

There are nine pockets, all distinct, that you can use as you see fit. You can organize the pockets as per your preferences, and use them to store various pieces of your gear.

I advise you to store only one piece per compartment if you don’t want scratches and cracks all over your equipment.

These compartments help to keep your gear protected. You also get the option to purchase additional Delta pockets and attach them to the bag, if your vlogging kit does not fit into the built-in pockets.
