Disadvantages of vlogging
“Not everything that shines is gold.”
Here are a few of the disadvantages of vlogging. Let’s talk about them
Initial investment:
Equipment required for recording a good vlog is usually expensive. Along with high-definition cameras, good editing software and proper lighting are also necessary. All of this may require much of your money to be invested before you start earning through vlogging.
No editing allowed:
Once you have uploaded your vlog on your site or YouTube, you are unable to edit it. Therefore, if you realize there’s something wrong with the content or editing after uploading, you may get to do all of it all over again rather than editing it directly.
Longer time required:
For producing good quality vlogs, you need to invest much of your time on your finalized vlogs, like having ideas, creating content, recording high-quality video, editing it properly, and finally uploading it on your site.
Difficult for search engines to read:
Videos do not have a text element that a search engine can read. Therefore, they are pretty tricky to come up with searching.
Longer loading times:
Compared to blogs or sites comprising just texts, the videos may take longer to upload.
